At work.

Eric and I work in the basement (dungeon) in the library of the college we attend. Periodicals.


We just had a ten-minute debate about Chipotle vs. Moe's and whether or not we were going to venture to either after work. He supports Moe's over Chipotle, but I'm definitely a Chipotle kind of girl. It's organic (mostly) and fair-trade (most of the time) and a wee bit more expensive. I'm vegetarian, so I get a veggie burrito for about $5.25, and chips for 1.75, which is pretty cheap. I don't buy salsa there because I have it at home, Trader Joe's Chipotle Salsa for about $2.00. The other thing at Chipotle that always looks good to me are the bowls, but those are about $7.00 each, not including guacamole and such.


See, I'm so cheap I remember prices of everything I buy.


Anyway. We will post real recipes soon, neither of us have a digital camera, so I've been taking pictures of my creations on my phone. And even though they are crappy, they will be posted soon!

Hello, all- we are Eric and Leah, and we like food. Specifically, we like cooking food. We decided to make this blog to veer our McDonald's addled friends away from their trans-fat-enabled lives, and unfortunately, just like milk, we don't exactly know the shelf-life of this blog. We have short attention spans. We promise to do our best in reporting what crazy creations we come up with for under ten bucks, as well as the scintillating specials in chain restaurants we can't resist, along with pictures of each.
